Our company (DML snc) has been operating in the real estate brokerage sector for many years. Mr. Di Meo, for some years your agency has been a Partner of the Solo Rentals Network and since 2021 it has also become a Partner of the Grimaldi Family's real estate network for the sales sector. How did you find out about this opportunity?

I learned of the possibility of implementing the services of my Solo Affitti agency, also with a division dedicated to L'immobiliare.com brand sales, thanks to a colleague of Solo Affitti from Rome who had already embraced this opportunity. I thus got to know the real estate network of the Grimaldi family and the professionals who are part of it. I appreciated their approach to the real estate world, made of seriousness and care. In a certain sense, I consider my business as an artisan laboratory, where I can put to use the skills and experience gained over the years, with the same scrupulousness of a craftsman. The experience in property and customer management developed thanks to Solo Affitti (leasing is cyclical and customer relationships are long-lasting) has taught us that the keystone is loyalty; to obtain it you need to work seriously, putting the customer's interests first. This is the approach to the market that we wanted to re-propose even in sales, supported by a network like that of L'immobiliare.com which is on the same wavelength as us.

Can you tell us how your passion for the real estate sector was born?
I started almost by accident many years ago. After graduating in Economics and Commerce and some work experience in the financing and mortgage sector, I held the position of Area Tutor for the Solo Rentals group. I had the task of following the new franchisees in the opening phase, helping them to put the franchise operating method into practice. It was an excellent training ground, which allowed me to get to know the real estate market in central-southern Italy and the different realities. Each market has its specificities and characteristics and only practice "in the field" allows you to fully grasp the different realities.

You are present in Rome in one of the most elegant and exclusive areas of the city. What is the most requested type of property at the moment in this area and how do you see the future of the market?
Requests in this area mainly concern medium-large cuts. The increase in interest rates discourages young couples or singles, who postpone the purchase of medium-small apartments until things calm down. Making predictions in a delicate moment like this is extremely complex. What I can say, taking into account the past situation and the current moment, is the feeling that purchase requests are slowing down while supply is increasing. But it is still too early to make an exhaustive analysis given that little time has passed since the increase in the cost of money. Maybe we'll talk about it again at the end of 2023!
